September 20 - International Student Sports Day
Every year on September 20, the International Day of Student Sports is celebrated. This holiday was launched by the General Conference of UNESCO at the initiative of the International Federation of Student Sports.
The Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Sports Student Union of Ukraine invited all higher education institutions of Ukraine to join this initiative.
This day is designed to attract attention and increase the importance of sports in educational institutions and to attract to its ranks supporters of a healthy lifestyle, to promote and popularize it. After all, a sedentary lifestyle, physical culture and sports are a reliable source of good mood and optimism, health and longevity.
Our college students are big fans of a healthy lifestyle and have joined the mass sports flashmob JUMP SQUATS.
