The world community celebrates Remembrance and Reconciliation Day and Victory Day over Nazism in World War II.
We remember our grandfathers and great-grandfathers with words of gratitude for their self-sacrifice. We respectfully bow our heads before the heroes who, with an incredible thirst for justice and patriotism, stopped the Second World War and brought peace and hope to humanity. Therefore, we ask you to honor the memory of everyone who fought against Nazism, as well as all the victims of World War II, by lighting the Candle of Remembrance on May 8 at 9 p.m.
