Global Money Week is an annual global initiative that includes promotions and events around the world. Today's youth need to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to make confident and informed financial decisions throughout their lives. The first Global Money Week events were held in 2012. In 2019, Global Money Week will bring together participants from around the world for the eighth time. Our teachers and students also joined the event.

On March 27, 2019, teachers Bulakh II and Szymanska OV invited students of the F-28 to take part in the economic battle "Financial race with obstacles". The purpose of the event was to consolidate theoretical knowledge in solving economic problems; assimilation of fundamental economic knowledge; promoting the development of skills of rational economic behavior of man as a consumer, employee, entrepreneur, owner of income and taxpayer, user of public goods, etc .; formation of skills of independent work at performance of practical tasks and generalization of the received results.

Two teams competed in the battle: the "Statutory Fund of the Economic Department" and the "Gold Reserve of the College". The captains of each team received route sheets, according to which the participants moved around the stations and perform various economic tasks: economic tasks, puzzles, riddles, crossword puzzles, interesting tasks for erudition and logical thinking. Battle task: for each correctly performed task at the station the team receives a reward - prize points in the form of coins and a prize word that is part of a certain phrase; when all the parts of the phrase are collected, it is necessary to make an economic statement of a famous person that is encrypted. The team that is the first to name the statement correctly will win. On the way to victory, the participants had 13 obstacles - stops: "Mathematical", "Puzzle", "Coded term", "Decoder", "Decoder", "Ukrainian hryvnia", "Question - answer", "Historical", "Erudite", "Economist". , "I am a client of the bank", "Fairy Tale Station", "Folk Wisdom", "Library".

If the team failed to collect all the parts of the statement, but it has earned coins on successful completion of battle tasks at different stations, the missing words of the statement could be redeemed at the last station for a certain price.

As a result of intense, dedicated, unrestrained, persistent and honest struggle, the team "College Gold and Gold Stock" won! Congratulations to our winners and we wish them further success in their studies and future professional activities!
